Spanish Class

Here's today's note and lesson plan from the Spanish teacher at "school":
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Last day of this session – Jan 13)

Dear Parents,

We started the new year with some things about “invierno” (winter) like the “muñeco de nieve” (snowman). The children helped me put a “muñeco” together. The “muñeco” is made from “nieve” (nee-eh-veh) snow. We put círculos for the eyes and then we counted how many círculos we needed. We also did a little review on what we learned last month during “navidad”. We sang – Buenos Días, Los colores and of course El abecendario. GREAT JOB, Niños.

NOTE: Last week, I had to cancel the class because I fell ill, so today we had a 45-min. class to make-up some time and we will have a 45-min class next week, as well.

We are off to a great start in the Nuevo Año.

Stay warm and have a great week.

Rose
