Easter 2015

We woke up to the Easter bunny's baskets for each of us!

 

 

James had the best basket of course, full of things he wanted/likes.

 

 

 

We headed over to Grandma Rose's house for an Easter brunch. First, James was excited to have them try his new jelly beans.

 

 

Green apple or grass? I think Grandma got grass flavored!

 

 

This Mom was excited to try a strawberry mimosa. No jelly beans for me!

 

The weather wasn't great for an outside egg hunt so Grandma his the eggs in the basement. James always has a great time finding the eggs.

 

 

 

I think Grandma Ross brings home samples from the bank she works at... The eggs always have dollar bills, sometimes $5!

 

 

Tia ChaCha and Uncle Rich were kind enough to gift James with some new books! He loved them so much he started reading them immediately.

 

 

Grandma always outdoes herself with the holiday decor!

Easter 2014

We were at my Mom's for Easter. Grandma Rose reminded James not to forget his Easter basket because she asked the Easter bunny to show up at her house. He sure did!

I'd say James did pretty well for himself. Grandma Rose doesn't mess around. Just a little candy, but a fistful of bills!

Spending his dollars

So the Bestie received the Disney Infinity system for his Wii for Christmas. James has been over to Dane's house for a few play dates as well and really liked the system. He decided to spend some of his saved allowance to buy his own system. Yeah!

There are collectible characters that go with the system. James received two of the characters with the starter pack, and might save some more of his allowance to buy the others!

So it finally came in the mail, after Jim ordered it through Amazon.

And James was so happy to play it!

 

For a few days and then lost interest!

Yes, that's why we need to be careful of our investments...

A cold winter day

James really enjoyed one of MY Christmas presents. He was swiping my electric throw blanket often so he decided to buy his own. He declared his "better"!

 

And he seems pretty attached to MY new ChromeBook laptop.
