I check on him every 5-10 minutes, especially if he's playing solo. He is playing by himself, waiting to be noticed by a neighbor friend. He's desperate for a Nerf war!

Admiring himself on TV! Meteorologist Patrick Hammer was at New Horizon yesterday, teaching the kids about weather. Mr. Hammer showed a group photo on today's morning news! James is a celebrity! :)

Playing Mario Bros on the Wii with his "warm fuzzy" friend Mario!

 

He's recently into stuffed animals. There is a hideous pile of them on my living room floor. He's already agreed to move them upstairs later today. He's excited because I said he can put them all in his closet.

Please note: we do NOT need more stuffed animals.

The rain finally stopped and it seems like all the neighbor kids went outside at the same time! It is lovely hearing the sounds of playing, knowing James is having fun with his neighbor friends!

Mom volunteered to stay inside and wash the dinner dishes. The peace and quiet, with the breeze coming in, sounded nice!

WJDN? (What's James Doing Now?)

Sometimes I post to my blog right in a moment. I call these my WJDN? posts.

Right now James and his Dad are opening up a great birthday present from Grandma Laura to Jim. It will give them hours of fun! Right now they are making some kind of contraption that will make music!

 

If this goes well there are all sorts of additional kits, like solar panels and motors!

We just captured a frog! He is showing the frog his battle droid. Now, he's moved on to his firetruck and also putting flowers next to the bowl so he "can see nature".
