Flint Hills Children's Festival 6/5

Ooops I'm a little out of order. We went to the Flint Hills Children's Festival in early June. It was put on by the Ordway. We didn't know what to expect since this was our first time attending the Festival. We found it to be a bunch of art stations, musicians/artists wandering around, and some various food tents.

James really enjoyed the rubber stamp tent. He made a garden of flowers and insects.

James is either watching a juggler or a "chick on sticks" (stilts).

Of course we found the Legos.

And the ice cream.

A magician kept us busy while we waited in a LONG line for a balloon animal.
Fascinated.

Finally the balloon animal.

James asked for a dinosaur. I think the man is explaining that a dinosaur's teeth are about the size of his arm?

We bought $5 Ordway tickets to Corbian the Dinosaur. (Click the link if you want to see the artist's webpage and short video.)

Flash photography wasn't allowed, sorry for the poor quality.

What a great day!
