James had a great day at daycare. We took over "cooks" (cookies) for a treat, Elmo party hats, and Elmo cups for the other kids. Sandra had a present for James- a tee ball set! James is going to LOVE it!
At home, we had a normal dinner and finished it off with a cupcake for James. He was very interested in the candle, recognizing that it is "hot" and Jim helped him to blow it out.
James is not a messy boy so it wasn't the typical cake smash that other kids have. I don't think he even did that at his 1st birthday.
James soon had enough cake. He said, "Out!" and then "Soap!", meaning he wanted to wash his hands :)
I just realized that we didn't give James any presents today. I guess we are waiting for the family birthday party next week!
