Last month we headed to Como Zoo/Town with Uncle Joe and Lisa. It was a spur of the moment decision to go and it ended up being a good day!
The monkey house is always a favorite.
James spied the rides and of course wanted to go on. Uncle Joe was very enthusiastic...but I don't imagine he thought he'd be on the kiddie rides :)
It didn't take much convincing for James to try a bigger ride with his Uncle.
HE LOVED IT.
This made him brave to try the "big roller coaster".
"I didn't like that one too much." But he didn't cry or fuss!
The Tilt-a-whirl was definitely a favorite. James insisted on going on with his Dad.
There were carnival games too. Uncle Joe let James try and he won a Large prize! (Not just the dinky little one.)
And then of course Uncle Joe made "Cragger" bite James' face off!
Mmmm cotton candy.
I spy a bunny! It's not in a cage!
And for the finale, after we parted with Uncle Joe and Lisa, James had both his Mom and Dad on the tilt-a-whirl.
I love the tilt-a-whirl and made it spin very fast. James shouted with excitement, Jim said, "Stop!" The day of junk food lunch, cotton candy, and then spinning rides didn't agree with him :)
Fun times!
