Spanish classes from all over the state gathered at the MN Zoo in mid February to practice their Spanish skills! The older students put on mini-presentations and skits about Zoo animals, entirely in Spanish. I was able to accompany James' class on this day as a parent chaperone. Woohoo!
The kids were split up into groups of four or five with a parent volunteer. I'm glad it was a small number because of the crowds and crowds of kids at the zoo!
James had a great time wandering the zoo with friends! It is so much different than the times he goes with just Mom and Dad.
At lunch the class was lucky enough to celebrate a classmate's birthday at the Zoo!
I love volunteering with Señora Kennedy. She has a great class of kids!
